Of cats and computer games

Yesterday I got a shipment of stuff in from petco.com. Some cat supplies and toys. The toys included twelve little furry mice (nto real) for Gwen to play with, a fishing-pole-like-thing for her to bat at the end of which could be held or attached to the wall, and a small piece of cat furniture with several platforms for her to climb on. Well, it ( Read more... )

The Final Fantasy games have used realtime combat for a long time so far as I know... I seem to remember that FF10 was the first exception to this in a while. Even the older games that had realtime combat, though, had some manner of switch in the options that you could toggle so that it would "wait" on each person's turn... effectively making it turn-based again. Does FFX-2 not have this ( ... )

The only other FF game I played is FF X. I thought I found a wait option for combat, but it didn't seem to do much of anything.

Gwen might well be overfilling her stomach. I could try mooshing up the food a bit more, although it's hard to do that when Gwen will pounce on it as soon as it is on any surface at all. I think I am using a different brand of cat food from the first time she threw up. One other thing, she occasionally eats dry food, btu very rarely. I always leave stuff out for her but she doesn't seem to like it. I tried a couple of brands so far.

If it happens too much more I will take her to the vet. I keep meaning to call one to see if I can get some expert advice.

Thanks for the advice.

3 times in 3 weeks is not that much. Cats kind of enjoy throwing up plus sometimes they do it to clean out hairballs.

Is she throwing up the dry food that you leave for her? If she does it alot, maybe try another brand when this runs out. Checking with your vet might not be a bad idea also.

Nope, it's the wet food. She doesn't actually eat much of the dry food.
