As much input as I can get

Am I the only one that thinks, even though I'm visiting, I should not take the kids out of school for the time being? My ex wife makes it sound like, if I want to spend as much time as possible I shouldn't let them go to school Wed and Thur, on top of the Monday I already kept them out. They are both doing real well in school, especially my son ( Read more... )

I don't think they should miss school. My kids get quite upset if they miss school and fall behind, and they're only four and eight!

Our are about the same ages. They wanted to stay in school. And since I practicly see them every 2-4 hours anyways, its not that bad at all ;) Thanks for your input!!

Well Sweetie you dont get a whole lot of time with them. Honestly, if their doing well in school, I dont see how a few days off would hurt them.

There are some things in life that are more important..I think for a couple days..it should be you hanging with your kids. It may be a while before u see them again. :( Perhaps this will teach them a life lesson about how important family is. :)

P.s. Yo Babys' Momma Rocks! ..lol I love how she can be mature about your relationship with ur kids. Its pretty awesome!

I figured i'd keep them in the rest of the week. They were way to excited to be in school. Especially with as motivated as my son is right now. He is doing real well ;)

Thanks for your input though Steph!

I think that missing school for three days leaves alot to catch up on. Maybe consider sending them for a half day. That way they won't have a bunch of work to make up. That will probably be the last thing they want to do when you leave. Or you could send the a whole day and take them to lunch. That way they get to look forward to seeing you twice!

Isaiah had alot to catch up on after just missing Monday! He is behind as of now. SO he'll be spending time tonight doing homework instead of spending more time with me on our last night. The excitement they have shown when I show up for lunch and after school has been priceless...SO I agree with ya ;) Thanks for your input Angie :D
