Charlotte, if this is what it looks to be, I'm concerned about your being all alone there in Boston. I'd like to send John to help you, if he can. NOW is the time for reconciliation, I think. If you'll give me your telephone number, I'll do anything you ask me to do with it.

my father is dead. I am already home. i honestly can't beleive that your trying to make me talk to john, who hates me by the way, while this is happening to me. i would like to say i apreciate your concern, but at the moment i'm in a tidepool of anger and i really can't say anything nice. so please, just this once, leave me alone.

Nobody on earth "hates" you Charlotte. And I wasn't trying to "make" you talk to John--just to get whatever circumstantial help you might need from somebody at a closer proximiy to you than I am.
Once your "tidepool of anger" recedes, you'll be just as nice as you usually are, I'm sure.
Meanwhile, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Your friends will rally around you, and help you to bear this terrible grief, I'm sure.
