While the chaos swirled around me today, I was treated to listening to a disc that my coworker brought over. The composer was Guillaume de Marchaut (1300-1377), whose primary occupation was actually that of poet, but he also composed music ( Read more... )

A capella tends to be rather hit-or-miss, I'll agree, but this is a wonderful, calming, pleasing piece of work :-D
