Went over to Anaheim to see if I could catch a glimpse of the shuttle on its final flight, and actually had a nice view. Sadly, iPhone cameras aren't very good, so the pictures aren't worth posting. But it was nice to see the shuttle one last time.
Or maybe I'll get to see it on Sunday morning too. *fingers crossed*
I happened to be waiting at Kaiser today for a family member when I heard that they had the flu shot in stock. I'm now slightly (only slightly) achey in my joints, although honestly that could just as easily be because I'm pushing myself too hard. It was nice to be able to get the shot before I start my heavy fall travel schedule for a change

I like a good coffee when I'm traveling, and prefer to have my first cup before I get dressed. That meant traveling with a set of various sizes of coffee filters in the US, but with the invasion of the pods, that no longer works

Sometimes the web amazes me. I'm so used to dealing with companies and websites that are kept up to date, or at least are kept working, and then I find myself trying to answer a question that just doesn't want to be answered

The girls got an assortment of dog toys for Christmas, including a snake from the "Indestructables" brand. Two of the six noise makers are already destructed.
There's probably some small print on the label that says "offer does not apply to dachshunds".
