Went over to Anaheim to see if I could catch a glimpse of the shuttle on its final flight, and actually had a nice view. Sadly, iPhone cameras aren't very good, so the pictures aren't worth posting. But it was nice to see the shuttle one last time.

Or maybe I'll get to see it on Sunday morning too. *fingers crossed*

I happened to be waiting at Kaiser today for a family member when I heard that they had the flu shot in stock. I'm now slightly (only slightly) achey in my joints, although honestly that could just as easily be because I'm pushing myself too hard. Ah, now I get it. It's Friday the 13th.

My day started with cleaning up the evidence of a dog's gastrointestinal distress at the top of the stairs. How is your Friday going?

The girls got an assortment of dog toys for Christmas, including a snake from the "Indestructables" brand. Two of the six noise makers are already destructed.

There's probably some small print on the label that says "offer does not apply to dachshunds".
