I like a good coffee when I'm traveling, and prefer to have my first cup before I get dressed. That meant traveling with a set of various sizes of coffee filters in the US, but with the invasion of the pods, that no longer works

Well now...as you may know, I *also* like/require a good cup of coffee. And on Amazon they're only $25!
I also like the pods, though. Just last week threw out on of my travel pod coffee makers, because the rubber seals were fried/worn out. Still have another pod-brewer at the office, that does fine in a pinch. But I like the looks of this AeroPress. Thanks for the tip!
Well cleaning difficulty is really a matter of degree...
A filter full of grounds from my Braun is so easy to dump into the compost, the sludge at the bottom of the press is not nearly so convenient to remove... and more so when working in a hotel bathroom rather than a kitchen. :) The Aeropress actually leaves you with a little puck of spent coffee that was even easier to compost, and then needs just a quick rinse and wipe.
