They say no one should tell their story unless they're absolutely certain they have something to say. I'm actually not absolutely certain that my story is life-changing or earth-shattering, but I know that the words are collecting at the tips of my fingers and if I don't shake them out over the keyboard they could go backwards and form word clots ( Read more... )

You're welcome, thanks for reading :)

Absolutely beautiful peice. It's so hard to have that "last" conversation. What do you do? Hard things. Can you maybe visit?

I've thought of visiting but I can't afford return flights to NYC every year.
But I probably will make a trip down once.

and not on crazy college roadtrips.

As for the 'last' real conversation, I'm still unsure of where to go, what to say or do.
I've never been spectacular with goodbyes and see you agains.

Everyone has a story, and as long as it has a point to him, that's all that matters. :*

Your story is so sad. Five years really is a long time, but hopefully they will go quickly. Is there any chance that you can see him before those years are over?

I really hope so too.
Thank you Meera ♥

We're not sure if we'll get to meet each other, our academic year is very different.
It's a little too early to say.
But we're hopeful : )

the fact that everyone of us leads different lives and are different people already means we have our own stories to tell. somehow it is so similar, yet so different.

the strength of your friendship would triumph this 5 years. after all, what is 5 years when your friendship is going to last a liftime? :)

stay strong

As long as you've got him in your heart, you will live to see the dawn.
