(english) OH HAI HELLO. 2011 was a year of many changes for me, and I'm sorry that meant I negleted this comm. Anyway, this is a proyect I started past December, and which I have been uploading on tumblr, so you might have catched it there if you have one. Anyway, I've been planning on posting it here for a while and FINALLY am doing it. Hopefully there will be more to talk about in the future as there are other things I have planned for it. Anyway, hope you like it, with all my preseries love, I introduce you to Nimueh, the series.
(español) BUENAS NUEVAS. El 2011 fue un año de muchos cambios, y lamentablemente, eso significó que descuidara un poco esta comunidad. Pero en fin, para cambiar los aires, les traigo un proyecto que empecé en Diciembre (regalo de cumple de thefrozenyogurt, quien a su vez me regaló a mi un fantástico preseries!au, or si a alguien le interesa). Lo he estado poniendo en tumblr, y a algunos les he molestado bastante con ello, pero finalemtne está aquí. Espero en el futuro poder agregar más al proyecto, proque tengo unas cuantas cosas planificadas. Pero veremos hasta donde llego. En fin, con todo mi amor por preseries, les presento Nimueh, la serie.

fake tv-show: Nimueh (the series)
Season 1.
It's time for a new dawn. A new king arises in the land of Camelot and it-s welcomed with hope and desperation. Nimueh, a young witch, a high skilled priestess of the old the religion, sets her destination on Camelot hoping to help on the future Uther Pendragon promises. Loyalties must be formed, rules will be settled, love will arise, friendships will be born, as the pair, helped by the King's soon to be Queen, and the inclusion of a very servile and clever physician, start to settle the world back on tracks. In a time where magic is allowed but deeply judged, will they be able to put differences apart and survive past experiences, lies and secrets and complete the mission they have taken upon themselves?
(this is the season where everything begins. Alliances are formed. Wreckage on the kingdom is controlled. Uther's authority is settled. Igraine becomes Queen. Nimueh struggles with her differences and her affection for the royalty and her position as a High Priestess. This is the season were everything seems hopeful and happy endings seem to be the only thing ahead, while still walking on a fine line of problems and distrust).
1X01. Camelot's Call. (pilot) … 1X13 Queen of hearts. (season finale).
Season 2.
With an strict King and a warm Queen, everything seems to be settled on Camelot, but new pressures will test everything they so hardly built. Time passes and a heir is in need, the news of barren Queen Igraine will travel faster than wanted. Uther's authority and ability to keep his reign in control will be put in doubt. Nimueh's position as High Priestess will arise questions and doubts from both sides. Magic will grow and take a more important part in their lives, loyalties will be judged, decisions will be made, as the series go darker following depression, desperation and distrust in a path that has no way back. Nothing will ever be the same.
(this is the season were limits between bad/good magic are questioned. The season of “how far will you go?”. The season were Uther argues with everyone, and everyone argues with everyone. It's the season where the Priestess aren't fooled by what little truth Nimueh tells them. Chaos starts growing under the apparent control it had been hidden. Igraine and Uther grow apart, Gorlois takes a more important role in the Kingdom, Uther and Vivian confide in each other. Nimueh and uther finally make the pact that will bring their own destruction: the day Arthur's born).
2X01. The beginning of the end. (season premier) … 2X13 The coming of Arthur (season finale).
Season 3.
Cast outside Camelot, Nimueh settles upon herself to stop Uther, who blinded by love and self-loath after the death of Igraine rushes himself on the hunt of magic people, starting terror every where he stands. As both side struggle with their own thoughts and regrets, Camelot suffers. Each episode gets darker and darker as people are badly judged, or not judged at all. Witchfinders arise, and the Kingdom starts to die. Normal people, still weary of magic get behinds door and hope to not get noticed as these two all friends try to kill each other by damaging everybody else but themselves. This is the dusk of Camelot as they knew it, this is the death of everything they promised. As everything dies in the dust, and only a few try to fight for what it's right, will hope survive?
(this is the season of the great purge. This is the fight between Uther and Nimueh and everyone stuck in between. This is the end of the dragons, of magic, of the old religion. Tristan, Vivian, and many other die. Gaius becomes a nameless hero. This is the season that settles the future of Camelot as we know it.)

Es hora de un nuevo amanecer. En tierras de Camelot nace un nuevo Rey, recibido con esperanza y desesperación. Nimueh, una joven bruja y altamente calificada sacerdotisa de la antigua religion, se pone en camino a Camelot con la esperanza de ayudar al futuro que Uther Pendragon promete. Lealtades, reglas, amores y amistades harán aparición cuando Rey y Sacerdotisa, ayudados por la futura Reina, y la inclusión del atento e inteligente médico, empiecen a poner el mundo en orden. En un tiempo donde la magia está permitida pero se le mira con recelo, ¿serán capaces de poner a un lado sus diferencias y sobrevivir experiencias, mentiras y secretos para completar la misión que se han encomendado?
(esta es la temporada donde todo comienza. se forman alianzas. el caos del reino pasa a estar bajo control. se cimienta la autoridad de uther como rey. igraine se convierte en reina. nimueh lidia con sus diferencias y afecto por la realeza de camelot y su posición como alta sacerdotisa. esta es la temporada de la esperanza, donde los vivieron felices para siempre parecen el único final posible, pero siempre caminando en la línea de los problemas y la desconfianza).

Temporada 2.
Bajo el reino de une stricto Rey y una amable reina, todo parece estar encamiando en Camelot, pero nuevas responsibildiades pondrán a prueba todo aquello que costosamente construyeron. Con el pasar del tiempo, urge la necesidad de un heredero y noticias de la imposibilidad de la reina de producir se distribuyen más rápido de lo deseado. La autoridad de Uther y su habilidad para reinar será puesta en duda. La posición de Nimueh como Alta Sacerdotisa creará dudas y preguntas desde ambos bandos. La presencia de la magia crecerá y tomará un papel más importante en sus vidas, al tiempo que lealtades son cuestionadas, se tomarán decisiones, llevando la serie a más oscuros lugares, siguiendo los pasos de la depresión, desesperacion y desconfianza en un camino que no tiene vuelta atrás. Nada volverá a ser lo mismo.
(esta es la temporada donde los límites entre magia buena y mala se cuestionan. La temporada del "¿Hasta donde irías?" La temporada donde Uther pelea con todo el mundo, y todo el mundo pelea con todo el mundo. Es la temporada donde las Sacerdotisas no se engañan con la poquita información que Nimueh se digna a contarles. Caos crece bajo el aparente control que le esconde. Igraine y Uther se distancian, Gorlois toma importancia en el reino, Uther y Vivian se vuelven confidentes. Nimueh y Uther finalmente crean el pacto que traerá su propia destrucción: el día que nace Arthur.).

Temporada 3.
Exiliada de Camelot, Nimueh pone sobre sus propios hombros la responsabilidad de detener a Uther, que, cegado por amor y odio por si mismo tras la muerte de Igraine, se encierra en la caza de gente mágica, llevando terror a donde sea que va. Mientras ambos lidian con sus propios pensamientos y arrepentimientos, Camelot sufre. Cada episodio se vuelve más oscuro cuando personas inocentes son equivocadamente juzgadas, o ni siquiera lo son. Los cazadores de brujos se vuelven moda, y el Reino comienza a morir. Las personas comunes, aún recelosos de la magia, se esconden tras sus puertas y esperan que nadie se fije en ellos mientras los dos ex amigos intentan matarse uno al otro a través de la aniquilación de todos los demás. Este es el atardecer de Camelot como una vez lo conocieron, es la muerte de todas sus promesas. Sobrevivirá la esperanza, cuando todo se convierte en polvo, y solo unos pocos luchan por lo justo y la verdad?
(esta es la temproada de la purga/inquisión. es la guerra entre uther y nimueh y todos los que se encuentran en medio. es el fin de los dragones, de la magia, de la antigua religion. tristan, vivian y otros tantos mueren.
