LIKE, WHATEVER AND STUFF

2010 is off to a challenging start. I'm saying "challenging" because that sounds vaguely optimistic. This is my new policy statement, or like, WHATEVER: when I have LJ time, I'm using it to leave comments and give feedback and such, because let's face it, we care about what people have to say to *us* and not about what they post, right? Oh, please ( Read more... )

I love Daniel Craig best, too. I'm currently reading the novels (very slowly because I'm still working insane hours, but it all might be less stressful when this month is over), and I've got to say that I enjoy them very much and wish that some of those books had been used as a basis for the movie. Moonraker, for example, was a surprisingly fun read.

I'm planning on rewatching the movies next. I do enjoy them, but they're so very different from the novels, not just in terms of plot, but how they portray James Bond, his feelings and his missions.

I haven't watched Modern Family yet, but it's the next show on my list. I still catching up on The Good Wife which I like very much. Surpringly well-written characters, especially the female ones are multi-layered ( ... )

I wouldn't mind at all, really, if they decided to go back and remake some of the films in a manner that stayed slightly truer to the books. I thought Casino Royale was a nice balance of book plot updated for today's sensibilities.

And by the way, I gotta disagree with your statement regarding commenting and reading posts. There was more than a little sarcasm intended ;-) Some people *do* care. I'm just tired of investing energy in places where it is wasted. As you said, time is valuable! I've never felt that more keenly ( ... )

Hooray on the Bond watching! Pete has the entire collection (with the exception of Quantum), so I spent part of my summer watching all of them. Good stuff!!!

They have been fun so far...though I'm heading in the Moore years and not so excited about that. Maybe they'll surprise me, though!

I'm yo' bitch! *waves*

I'm still large with the Modern Family lurve. I have to admit, that I'm slightly more in lurve with Cougar Town, but that's just cuz the mens are purdier and more frequently semi-nekkid.

They know what Mama likes. ;Þ

I think I'll have to catch up with Cougar Town on DVD later -- the bits I've seen have been very funny! Plus, not gonna complain about pretties *g*

Hehe it's good to stay vaguely optimistic. And "whatever" has long since been my mantra, good choice :P

That show is SO MUCH LOVE and a very unexpected (much-needed!) bright spot in my TV viewing.
