wow rach...i am dumbfounded... i could never put anything like that in words.. you really do have a gift for writing. You have so much more than that too. To realize everything that you do, amazes me too. You have so much wisdom... i love ya...
I agree Rach, I've been reading what you write and it's amazing. God really does have his purposes for everything that we do, and I feel his purpose was for me to have the chance to work with you again a little this summer, to have you in my life because you have lifted my spirits up so much when my "friends" from high school has let me down. And you always let me know that you're there for me, even when I complain sometimes! lol I'm always here for you too!! What you write in here also has great affect on me because it gets me to think that yea, God is with me and like what Allison said that why do I worry so much, God is taking care of everything, and your writings always reasures me of that as well. You are such an amazing person and I'm so glad to have you in my life. I hope we always remain friends! Love ya lots girl! My mom says hi!!! lol ~Pam
Beautiful words, Rachel. God has been bringing me along a similar journey during the past few months. My faith has never been more real to me. And yet there are times when I become so overwhelmed with how incredibly far I still have to go. But God is ever faithful. When I am down, He brings me up to places I could never dream of.
These verses from Jeremiah 29:11-14 are very dear to me. I chose to read them during my testimony at my baptism, and they sum up the journey of a believer so well:
"I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to proser you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all of your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord..."
Keep up the good work, Rachel. It is clear to see God's hand in your life.
