Brooke  Shields called her book Down Came the Rain. If I wrote one, it would have to be called, Along Came the Bus.

And it ran me over. Actually it drove through my living room window, ran me over, backed up and ran me over again. Post partum depression is no joke, y'all.

**hugs you tight** It's not dumb Hun. It's all a new experience for you since he's your first. You'll know better if you have a second. I was really affected by your story. I remember well dear! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better though!

*HUGS* youre not dumb. being a new mommy is incredibly hard - top that with anxiety, sleeplessness, lack of eating and worry over this new person relying on you... its amazing anyone makes it through that first month! :)

you're doing great and im SO glad your husband and mother were there to help. its hard - it gets harder... it gets easier. but youre able to recognize it, and thats good. :)

PPD is nothing to play with. motherhood is supposed to be this glowing "all is right with the world" thing (if you believe books and movies!) and sometimes it isnt.

but most of the time, its heaven when you look at your baby :) sleep and eat and take care of the boy... you're doing great! :)

I guess no matter what all the books say, you never know what you're in for until you actually have to do it. It's quite the ride!

*hugs*

You have been the one person who can explain anxiety attacks to me so that I completely get it. The first week has been a combo of adrenaline rushes and hormonal attacks. I can only imagine what the following weeks will bring. I'm so glad your husband got you to the ER and you're back on track!

I am happy to hear that you got the help you needed. You are lucky to have great support from your mom and hubby. Post Pardom is scary stuff. I am keeping my fingers crossed it won't affect me.
