Still, that didn't mean Cedric was going to wake up.

At least, not anytime soon.

Not without a bribe, at least.

Strangely enough, Jack did have a bribe, and it was a uniquely Cedric-orientated bribe, at that: a cup of tea and a sweet flaky pastry.

He slipped back into the room, smiling when he saw Cedric was still asleep, and kicked off his shoes before making his way over to sit on the edge of the bed and wave the tea under his nose.

"You're such a cheater," Cedric mumbled, not opening his eyes but rubbing at them anyway.

"I know." He pulled the tea away just enough to kiss him.

"As long as you know," Cedric mumbled, fumbling a little into that kiss due to still being partially asleep.
