Jude-isms
Jude wanted me to snuggle with him this morning, and lay my head on his chest. I told him I could hear his heart beating, badum, badum, badum.
He asked me what it was doing and I told him it was pumping blood through his body so he could breathe and run and play.
He said, "Mom, don't tell me that! That's WEIRD!"
and Lucy piped in, "Weird!!"

book
I picked up the newest Stephanie Meyer book , Breaking Dawn, for Emma (and for me) today. She had reserved it and was so excited when she got the call that it was in today.
She better read it fast, because I blew through the first three in a hurry. Of course I'll take my time on this one because who knows how long it will be until the next one ( Read more... ) -

I think I did it
I think I finally put a feed link on my new blog that one can subscribe to. I'm mostly blogging over there now. However, Judeism of the day:

I was listening to Pandora, and a Rascall Flatts song came on - Jude is sitting here and said, "Is this the Lightening McQueen song?" Too funny that he recognized their voices, even though it was a different song! -
Lucy-isms
She loves cows and yells COW, MOO when we see them in our travels. I was looking at the county fair site today and she saw pictures of horses - they are apparently "HEE-HEES!!!" -
Ugh
We have come to the difficult decision that we need to rehome our dog. We cannot take him to a shelter, as they informed us he will be euthanized because of his dog aggression :(. So I'm not having much luck, but I'm going to keep trying. We're all very sad, but it's not working out for him or for us. -
Lucy-isms
She isn't signing very much anymore, even though she doesn't have a ton of words yet. I mean, she does, but she doesn't speak in sentences. She often grabs my hands and starts making me do what she wants, or pushes me in the direction she wants to go. She also IS repeating every word she hears, which is super cute ( Read more... ) -

I just got a 95 on an essay that I was sure sucked ass. I am so incredibly relieved. I am getting an A in this class so far and it has been incredibly challenging.
