Lately, I've been feeling incompetent. Nursing is a tough profession. Every other student seems to have a handle on it but I struggle with this stuff. Today I was supposed to meet up with an old friend, Laura before she goes away to Chicago but that ended up not happening. She told me she has lupus erythematous which can be fatal if the infection spreads to the organs. I guess, in her condition, it's not at the point where it's fatal but it has the potential to be. I was thinking today about how little I really know God. Sometimes my pride gets in the way and I start thinking, "You know, I'm doing pretty good at this Christian thing".
