I am leaving for Mexico tomorrow. I will be back home July 9. I'm a combination of scared, excited and completely unable to imagine what this will be like. I am incredibly busy at work right now. Since I leave in a little over two weeks, I have to finish the school year AND prepare for summer. I know that means nothing to any of you but I am BUSY. And exhausted.

Even better is talking politics, veggie cooking, travelling and drinking iced tea under rain clouds.

I love it here.

p.s. The picture was taken on my backpacking trip last summer. That mountain is an hour drive from my house.

I am not a fan of this administration. We all know that.

But as I listen to Condy Rice testify I have to admit I admire her control. I'm irritated as hell that they keep interrupting her. Although it was funny when one of the senators kept calling her "Dr. Clark" until Rice said, "I don't think I look like Dick Clark." hehe ( Read more... )

When I'm in Mexico I don't want to have to shave so I'm growing out my leg and underarm hair to get it waxed off. I'm all prickly. Poor breaded.

In other news, breaded bought me an iPod! So, instead of doing homework I'm making playlists. I've never had so many electronics in my life.
