Execution of the Unfaithful
Speaking of music, it seems the DJs at Chiang Mai's only English radio station seem to have become enamored of Rihanna and her "new" hit song Unfaithful, and have been playing it at least once a day since the new year began. 2007
Well, it's 2007 where I'm at, so, allow me to be unoriginal and wish everyone a happy New Year on my blog. It's been... nearly 7 weeks since last I had a chance to sit down, breathe, and update. Lots of things I've wanted to say in the last month and a half, so, here it is.

I just recently found out that one of the extras, let's call him R, was injured on the set of American Gangster this past Thursday. It turns out that R, along with the other extras who were in my little group, were directed to walk alongside a mule train on a narrow dirt path. The mules were apparently a bit unruly right then. Yesterday's shoot is finished, and may I say amen. shadowlady68 was right when she said it's all hurry up and wait. The extras all got on site about 6 or 7 in the morning, but shooting didn't start until The Denz showed up at 11. Then it was all "do it again". Well, I got a call from the Asst. Casting Director yesterday. I've got to meet at his office at 4am to ride to Chiang Dao, and won't get back until about 7 or 8 tomorrow night, after they've used up all available sunlight. So I'm going to bed early tonight. Hollywood, here I come
So I answered an online ad for extras for a movie being filmed partly in Chiang Mai. They needed extras for CIA and American GIs, so I thought it might have been the new Rambo movie. (Sly Stallone is in town filming. Saw him at one of my favorite restaurants.)
