I honestly have no desire to watch or read any masturbatory self-indulgent adolescent fantasy-fulfillment vampire teenybopper melodrama. It's like fricken Dracula meets The Babysitter's Club. It is to the vampire genre what Jar Jar Binks is to Star Wars.

I am coining a new term for a certain type of punishment in my wannabe dystopian yet politically correct near future fictional society:

Punitive Cephalectomy
It would be cool if I could introduce the term into common parlance, e.g. X deserves a punitive cephalectomy.  I would like to perform a punitive cephalectomy on Y.

It's no secret that I dislike Microsoft Windows.  So much so that I don't use Windows in my office or on my home computers.  We all know it's insecure and unstable.  Not to mention you have to reboot it just about any time you install a new program, piece of hardware, or a Windows update.  It has a world-wide reputation for being so, yet it's used ( Read more... )

What I like about being taller than the average Thai person is that the good vegetables on the top shelves in the supermarket haven't all been snatched up yet.
