interesting week

Keiko Hajime, the first practice of the year, was last Thursday. This is when the dojo typically awards promotions to brown and black belts. I've been a green belt for over a year and a half, a bit longer than most people. I was shocked when I was included in the list of new 3rd kyu members. I tried so hard to not care, for it to not matter to me,

Congratulations on both your belt and the job! I'm so happy for you. I've been thinking about you guys wondering if you have time to get together sometime in the not too distant future. (You've got to see Lydia soon, she's so much fun!) When is a good time to call you?

Thank you very much! I'd love to see you soon too! I'm sure Lydia is getting huge. I can't wait to see her. Any time after noon is usually a safe bet to call. If I'm not available, I'll just get back to you as soon as I can. And late nights don't bother me either. I'm usually up till ridiculous hours. :)

Congratulations on both your advancement and the job. I am glad that you are going to get a job that you find rewarding and exciting. Paul is getting ready to test for his 2nd level Black Belt in TKD. It is an exciting time.

Congratulations. If your Sensei felt you belonged at that rank then chances are pretty good you do. They tend to know what they are doing. :-)
