Tomorrow I start my new job as a pediatric RN at P/SL. I'm excited, nervous, and everything in between. I am so glad to be done being a CA. It's about time. I've been licensed for two months now. Have you ever heard criticism of Freud? That he applied meaning to every little thing? Sometimes a chicken is just a chicken. I didn't get the job. I have to believe that that is just because the right job is still out there waiting for me. I really hate that I've gone to school for five and a half years, graduated, tested, passed, and am still doing a job that takes a few months to become qualified for. It really irks me. This has got to get better. It's going to. I know

I should hear sometime today (tomorrow) about whether I have the job. I am so nervous about it. It's making sleep hard to come by. I couldn't sleep today hardly at all, and now I'm at work and very grumpy. I'm having a hard time focusing on anything, too. This bites. I wish they'd just tell me that the job is mine. It would make things so much

Emmi's party was really nice. I got to see lots of friends that I don't see very often. Fortunately, Frank was kind enough to take kids to the playground for a lot of the afternoon, so we didn't have the noisy chaos for nearly as long as would have been otherwise. Overall, it was fun. Emmi had a blast and looked so adorable in her costume.
