I'm at work tonight. There's not a lot to do. I'm doing a 'one on one' with a patient. That basically means that they pay me to sit and watch a kid all night. I'm officially an RN now. Everyone has been telling me for so long that they knew I could do it, and I guess I finally have. I got my authorization to test on July 9th, I think and scheduled my exam for July 23rd. Round about the 16th I stopped being able to sleep cuz I was so nervous so I changed the plans. Tonight I'm working at the hospital. Thankfully it's pretty peaceful so far. I'm realizing exactly how little time I have for anything lately. I could really use about 6 extra days each week. tomorrow's my last day of school!!!! all my finals are done. i finished all of my papers and other assignments. now i just have to get my butt up early in the morning and go to class. not too shabby.

I am so overwhelmed. I'm nearly done with school, but it feels like I have so much to do that I'll never get it all done. I have a presentation tomorrow (today?) at 3 so my group is meeting at 2. Since I've been working and doing my senior practicum at Children's, I'm noticing a definite difference in how I see the world. Every time I get in my car I am worried about accidents.
