So...due to what I can only assume was a lack of effort on my own part (though I'm not ruling out a grand interuniversity conspiracy) I have been waitlisted at what I consider a grand number of schools. The current responses from law schools play out as ( follows )

Hey, if you want to come visit Georgetown sometime to decide if it's where you want to go, I'd be more than happy to put you up here. And we regularly have visitors in our classes, so you'd be more than welcome to come and see what the school is like.

Just throwing that out there. My school needs more interesting people.

I'll definitely take you up on that. Out of curiousity, do you remember when you heard from Georgetown?

I heard about two days before the end of April, via e-mail. I got a package in the mail about three days later.

It's frustrating, but seriously, lawschools *love* waitlists. On the upside, I know lots of people who got *off* waitlists :)
