How do you feel about so many people getting married or getting engaged? Has this lead to any difference about how you see your own relationship?

For whatever reason, the fact that people I know from college are engaged/married doesn't really affect my own viewpoint. Now, when a majority of my friends from high school start getting engaged, then I might start to rethink...(for now, there's only one or two...that I know of)

Kind of an out-of-the-blue question, but it occured to me that I've never actually bothered to ask it, so here goes.

You've never even mentioned to me the type of music you like, or if you like music at all. What would you say are your favorite songs?

You can just name a handful (four or five or however many you feel like naming) of songs that you really like.

A harder question than you might think...I've gone through a lot of music phases, largely based solely on what I was exposed to, so I have not so much eclectic tastes, as somewhat mainstream/boring tastes. But I, generally, claim to like classical and techno and, of course, random songs from the 80s. Top 5 songs?

1.) Finlandia - Sybelius

2.) 9th Symphony (a weak choice, but too good to be ignored) - Beethoven

3.) Sandstorm - Darude (I find it hard to come up with good techno "songs" as I rarely know the names of what I listen to, so this partially wins out for being easy to identify)

4.) Goldberg Variations - Bach (performed by Glenn Gould...but then, I probably only really really like this for it's association with Silence of the Lambs)

5.) Mr. Roboto - Styx

Has this list changed at all since high school? If not, is it because your tastes are stagnant, perfect, or near enough to perfect that they don't require change?

The list hasn't changed since high school, but I don't think it says as much about my music preferences as it does about my list generating abilities. I care a whole lot less about music (I don't remember the last time I bought a new CD or downloaded an mp3) know than I did in high school, and yet, somewhat contradictorily (sp???) have a much broader appreciation of music, given somewhat higher exposure (my girlfriend, caring more, frequently chooses the radio station or CD selection on trips, so I listen to more than techno, classical, or the occasional 80s not-quite-pop-hit).
