I spent break at the home of one of my housemates in good old suburban Virginia.  It was a fabulous break.  We would get up late, watch tv, eat cheetos and bagel bites, watch Twin Peaks, and on particularly ambitious days we drove out to find shopping entertainments.  I did absolutely none of my homework and very little of my searching for job/ ( Read more... )

Yeah...I'm going to be selfish too and suggest, ney, FORCE you to come here...However, other places are much better than here and it would be more fun to go some place new...But I miss my Alex head, and yeah...You should just come here and poop in your parents' houses...On the floor...And be all, "SEE! I'm grown up and poop where I please!"

You're in college at the quarter-life crisis stage. Growing up is the necessity. Apart from any innate internal voice guiding you, it depends on the need. Going home to earn easy money with likely cheap living situations would provide free time. What would the personal benefit be? Maybe free time could be guiding yourself and allowing you to develop interests and whatnot. Otherwise, which seems to me to be the superior option, going to Seattle is a novel experience that is sure to stimulate an intense increase in neuronal connections (personally relative, of course). The resulting cognitive changes could be profound and life-changing. It could also suck and be boring and just encourage teenage cynicism, but I'm doubtful at least with respect to myself ( ... )
