The Unasked Question

Not sure if any of you remember the fics I wrote last year called Tragic Little Hero and Affection. I planned to write two other short fics in the same universe and I've finally done it. Well, I've finished one and have started on the fourth part. This is, I'm sure, my subconscious searching for any way it can to not work on BLTN. Whatever the ( Read more... )

Great! I loved how you showed harrys feelings for hermione starting like that! It was perfect!

And of course my favorite part...

"Saw you in the alley with a tasty little lady," said the hag on the barstool next to where Harry stood. He looked at her and saw Tonks's twinkling blue eyes peeking out from under a floppy witch's hat.

"How did you get here so fast?" Harry asked, looking straight ahead.

"Magic," Tonks replied. "Do a little snogging in the alley?"

"I wish," Harry muttered without thinking.

"Pardon?" Tonks said, clearly shocked

LOL! Perfect! I was shocked my self!
Keep them comming.

First of all, I had just looked at the new GOF pictures before I read this, so I had shaggyhair!Dan in my head the whole time. And it made me all fluttery!

I really enjoyed the other two TLH stories, so this was a great surprise to find today! Harry was totally flirting with Hermione in the alleyway, even though he didn't realize it. I love the way you write all the little innocent ways that they touch each other. It shows how comfortable they are around each other. And I loved Harry's realization of his feelings. Also, nice reference to A Little White Horse!

I can't wait for the fourth installment!

Well, this is what I get for not logging on to check my email in 18 hours. This was great as always. I love the TLH series for a few reasons. First, it seems the most in canon to just about anything I've read. It's not over-bearing with some sudden realization he's been harboring for her for months (i.e. some of what I've written) he's....clueless. Which when it comes to people, is exactly what Harry is. Second, they're appropriately paced and not exceptionally long (for those of us who've contracted HP-ADD in the past several months). Third, they show an interaction of a LOT of characters. No one is left out of any of the "action" and it reads jsut like you'd expect book 6 or 7 to read (and I think we might - if not hope - that we'll see a lot of this type of action coming). JK has been very upfront about how it's a coming-of-age story of Harry, yet we've really not seen much girl-confusion (except Cho) thus far and I don't know - working with 1200 of them a day - many 16 year old boys and girls that aren't wholly and completely ( ... )

Loved it. Wish I felt better so I could write proper comments, but I loved it.

I really enjoyed this ... but now I can't wait for #4. Try to finish it as soon as you can, please! :)

P.S. There seems to be a problem with this story at Portkey that requires a re-upload.
