man, I wish they had mailed me back an 'I Voted!' sticker when they received my ballot. :)

Not that YOU are the person to take this up with, but damn, 7pm is too early for a lot of people to get to their home voting area by. Or at least, to have voted by. (Do they keep people in who are in line by that time, or does all voting cease by 7 on the dot?)

We are currently in DE for Thomas's big to-do, so I'm a bit isolated from the news. Which is fine, I guess.

The "I Voted" sticker I got has the presidental seal on it. Very cool.

I agree that 7pm is WAY to early but apparently if you are in line at 7:00 then you will get to vote. 7:01 and you do not.

Sorry to hear you are isolated, but no news is probably better than watching Peter Jennings torture us all night.

hey, I'm happy to see that your state went Kerry. We were all getting a bit worried there for a while. :)

And I see my state is blazing Republican Red, AS USUAL. bastards.

Interestingly enough, VA was not the normal Republican sweep. I think it ended up being a 54% win vs. the normal 65-70%. At least we tried.....now just waiting to hear about Ohio.

Thanks! Remember the good old days when the election was clear and easy to call? It could be up to 10 more days before we know who actually won.

Yikes.
