Maybe you should go to the tryouts just to experience it? It sounds like it could be interesting, at least.

How will this show be like, compared to the Donald version? I assume it's baking and the like? Keep in mind, I haven't seen the other show, but I have read enough comments/reviews of it to get the general idea.

I don't really know. I imagine it will go beyond kitchen and gardening skills. I am guessing it would be more the business side of Martha (without the stock scandel) but who knows. It just doesn't seem worth actively taking off work to do...plus everyone on these shows comes out looking like an ass. I am not a fan of all of America knowing my faults. I should go to have a fun day out with Stephanie, but I can do that without taking time from work. Now, if this were an Ina (Barefoot Contessa) show...I would be all over it! Martha is someone I find to be like a panda or other caged animal at the zoo, I find her to be interesting to watch but at no point in time do I want to be America's Next Top Panda or a Panda Apprentice.

you're totally right. Being in the tryouts carries with it the ominous chance of actually making it on the show.

Your panda analogy made me laugh so hard, btw.

I can't wait to hear what Alix's Jeopardy experience is like.
