Today is our 9 year anniversary and Alix is really sick. She has 3 different medications and still wakes up choking on whatever is filling her lungs. I have to pick up another prescription tonight on the way home to see if that will help. She has slept all weekend and seems to be getting worse each day. She seems to be slightly better, I think the meds are finally starting to work. I took last night off out of protest and the fact that my work out from Monday had all my muscles tight and sore. Tonight we dig in...I think all will be fine in the end.

Thanks for the advice, I have been pumping her full of whatever she will eat. It was mostly apple sauce and peaches till yesterday. Last night she had a burger and some veg and felt like a grown-up again. She seems to be headed back up hill, hopefully she will be in the 90% range for her birthday.

I hope she's feeling a bit better now. Being sick sucks, but having someone to take care of you is always a nice thing. :)

....and a fine job she did...as per usual. Poor Laura, not so much a partner these days...more like my nurse. Too bad for her I'm not an 85 year old billionaire who's gonna kick any day...at least there would be some reward for all her effort. :-)
