I turned 21, stopped seeing the guy I was seeing because he stopped talking to me. Got a few new tattoos, and a new piercing.  Haven't done anything this summer except for work, which sucks because all I've done is work. I haven't done anything. I've barely been to the beach, I've been downtown a couple of times but that's it. 

 So, here I am again, nearly on the eve of another birthday. This will be my 21st, and will be officially an adult, now that I can drink in both Canada and the US. I'm going to have a hard time with this birthday too, but I think it will be the last one until I'm 30 or so. I don't know what it is about 20 and 21...that I'm officially an adult?  Saw Splice. Not what I was expecting. Not so much horror, and weirdly funny at times. The whole Adrian Brody creature love scene bit was definitely crossing the line. There is something extremeley desperate about a manager going around to all tables to advertise our 13th anniversary to generate business.  So, I had my bone graft surgery yesterday. Lots of fun. The surgery part was scary. Getting strapped into a very narrow bed, under those surgical lights, having an anesthesioligist poking me with a needle and having an oxygen mask placed over my face is extremely freaky. There were half a dozen male ducks hanging out on the docks in the marina today. You knew one was in trouble because at the other end of one, a female was pacing angrily, and then when the guilty mate waddled over, she flew into the water, with him after her. Someone go to the duck strip bar possibly?
