You know, with all the stuff going on in the world, the media devoting so much time and energy to the drunken driving death of a man whose claim to fame was shoving a Hot Wheels toy up his ass really doesn't make sense ( Read more... )

You've hit the nail on the head. Just replace 'drunken driving death' with 'Casey Anthony trial' and you've got the main reason I've been avoiding the news this week.

Oh don't even get me STARTED on that shit.

That bitch should die painfully and slowly, although I'm starting to think that the people who are fighting to get seats at the trial should also be removed from the gene pool.

A child is dead, this is not a WWE event for your amusement you sick fucks.

It's a veritable, annoying, media circus. I kind of want to kick people.

Don't look at me. I'm still down about Clarence Clemons, the man who showed me how cool being a sax man could be.

I was going to say, "Don't say that about Clarence Clemons!"

I'm from New Jersey.

Under state law you get a copy of the new Bruce album on release day at a discount (used to be free, but with the economy and Chris Christie having his head up his ass they cut that).

(When I heard, I pulled my iTunes playlist for Springsteen and played some of the best tracks with the Big Man in it - Jungleland, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, stuff like that.)

Was he drink driving? The British media didn't seem to mention that - just spent two paragraphs explaining to the general populus why the hell he was famous in the first place.

This will sound harsh, but if you're going to take an idiotic risk like drink driving, then you're stupid and selfish. You risk not only your own life, but others too.

He posted pictures to his Twitter two hours before the crash of him out pissing with his mates.

So.

And yeah, somebody else was in the car with him, also dead.

Sorry, but the guy's clearly a fucking idiot then. I think the fact that he had someone in the car with him makes me more angry.

Um? 'Getting pissed' with his mates I think you mean, darling. Unless he was spending a couple of hours urinating? ;-)

So - am I supposed to feel bad for anyone but his passenger and possibly his family? (Assuming he was the one driving.) I'm no pureheart; I've had a couple of beers and gotten behind the wheel. But that's all I've had and gotten behind the wheel; I wouldn't have blown a .08 BAC.

Jackass? Dumbass is more like it, sadly.
