Well, that lasted. Cole got fired already. He says he quit, but Paige said he got fired, and I tend to believe her over him. I don't know what the real story is, but I know he's not working now.

Paige got Cole a job as a lawyer at the city's legal aid office in the same building she works in. Today is his first day. Can't wait to hear about it over dinner tonight.

Phoebe has jury duty. I swear, she's the only person I've ever met who actually likes it. She's not really allowed to talk about the case, but she told us that it's a murder trial. She's been on jury duty for 2 weeks. Closing arguments are tomorrow, and then they start deliberating.

Cole took my car out to get some groceries tonight, and he got pulled over for a busted headlight, and then he got arrested because he had no ID. Thank god Darryl was there to bail his ass out of trouble. All I had to do was pay a fine to get my car back and get him out of jail. That was the first and the last time that he borrows my car.
