Anybody happen to catch Nightline last night on ABC? In case you didn't, one of the hot topics discussed was MySpace. It is no secret to anyone who reads the newspaper or watches the 6 o'clock news that MySpace has been in the limelight because of "sexual predators" trying to "abduct and corrupt" the youth of the world. This kind of reminds me of when this girl in high school said that it was girls' faults for getting raped because they dress slutty.

i do think some things shuld be done to monitor who is actually getting on myspace, but at the same time, a parent should be aware of their childrens behavior. a 14 year old girl shoutd not be posting pictures of her half naked for the world to see .... and this i think parents need to watch over. they need to watch what their children are doing. as for a 30 year old woman posting half nakes pictures ... thats her own doing and responsibilty. she is putting herself ar risk.

the comment the girl made at your high school. COMPLETLEY DISAGREE. its NEVER ever ever ever EVER EVER EVER EVER the girls fault for being raped. it took me a shit loud of counsling and time to realize this, but i am now 100% confident in saying its NEVER a girls fault.

Yeah, parents are definitely not doing their job there but I'm trying to think if my parents really monitored my internet usage when I was 14. I think some security measures need to take place. Don't know what, but SOMETHING

Oh and I totally agree about the rape thing. It's never ever the girls fault. But this just made me think of that.
