Well, I'm hoping things at work are about to get better. Three new people have been hired. Two are on second shift, one is on first shift. Hopefully that will reduce the days that we are grossly understaffed. Kind of like yesterday. Third shift writes down who's working the next day on a little slip of paper. The format's kind of like this.

Okay, well work's a bitch. Every day I promise myself that I won't let the job make me cold. That I'll always care about the needs of others. I'm hanging onto that by a thread anymore. Well... for the first time yesterday I actually got to talk to that guy. There was a new admit and when I first interacted with her I had a good feeling. The nurses had warned me that she was needy and demanding. They also warned me that there was a male admit that was very rude and sarcastic. Know what's sad? I'm 19, and I just got my driver's permit on Friday. The lady that took my picture took it once and declared that it was so good she didn't even want to show it to me because she knew I'd like it. I'm not very photogenic, but okay. Okay, as of 6/5/10 my marital status has changed to unavailable. No I have not found someone either. It was brought to my attention by my boss that I have an attitude, and my co-workers were complaining about it. I had no idea I had an attitude. Only a few people are trained to work back on Speret hall (Alzheimer unit) and she is one of them. Mom and dad are in Cleveland today to get his hearing aids, so I'm stranded at my house. Well... I've been employed for two weeks, and I still love my job. It has it's severely gross moments, but the thanks that I get and the praise I receive make it worth it. I really like my job. It makes me happy. The lady that was training me was sitting down with me and a resident. We talked for a few minutes and then she just randomly came out with "You have the most beautiful brown eyes. I want to dye your hair red. I always wanted a kid with brown eyes and red hair."
