Ok, let me be fair. The guys I work with are really great most of the time. No, they don't seem to understand that the way to keep the microwave from getting gross is to cover your food when it's in the microwave, but they have gotten the hang of washing their dishes as soon as they use them (thereby not leaving dirty dishes in the sink). I can't remember anything. Even simple stuff. I forgot I made tea. Again. I walked through the kitchen and there it was sitting on the counter. You'd think I could keep up with the fact that I'd made tea 20 minutes earlier, but no.

As part of my ongoing effort to go out more, I have scheduled myself three dates for this week. By Sunday I'll probably be complaining about how I hate going out and say that I am moving to a convent and becoming a nun, but for now it seems very exciting.

So I have this friend who I like to go out with sometimes who I consider a fairly reliable source for music information. We were out last night and were chatting about various issues and at one point I think he told me that Snow Patrol and Death Cab for Cutie are actually the same band. Ok, being as objective as possible and subtracting all the hours I was eating, checking my e-mail (non-work related), and driving to or from work, I believe I worked 13 hours today. How do people do this on a regular basis? I'm about to go collapse in the bathtub. I don't even think I have the mental capacity left to read.

At this exact moment in time, 1:25 am on Thursday, September 28th, not a single one of my 72 instant messenger friends are logged on. Not one single one. When was the last time this happened? I can't remember. It seems like somebody is at least always logged on and has an away message up. Maybe it's never happened. Craziness.

If someone could hit me over the head with a very large object, thereby rendering me unconscious for, oh say, the rest of the week, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
