I'd have liked to see this, even a little bit (or a whole hour). Believe it or not, it's still not bleak enough for me. I think he'll crawl out into the sand, having exhausted all possibilities inside the dead city, and finally die there, never to be found.
Thank you! I agree with you completely. Just one mention, one thought that Rodney had the idea before Keller and I might have been able to enjoy the episode more.
The way it was done is painful and I still don't get how some people can't understand how close John really came to never coming home.

In the end perhaps, after what I've written, John will go there. And die there. And still it hurts so much to think about.

I didn't even think about what would have happened if Rodney had not tried to save John!
It's too bad Todd died. I can imagine Rodney telling Todd that Sheppard got sent to the future and that if he could, keep a look out for him.
