usually i am very excited when i've been out shooting and want to develop the film immediately. but lately i've tried to let the film rest for a while so i can distance myself from those immediate feelings a little bit.
i find this works very well, as it makes it easier to judge shots not just by what i felt at the moment. also i feel the process of shooting is becoming more and more important to me in relation to the results. maybe a bit too much lately.
this shot therefore came as a bit of a surprise to me. i remember it, but hadn't that it would work so well.
