Oh, this is great! I just watched all of Freaks and Geeks for the first time a few weeks ago, so it's very fresh in my head and this was a delightful surprise. Your Kim voice is especially great, but you capture everyone, and their world, really excellently. Fantastic work.

Thank you so much! I was worried that, since I'm hardly familiar with 80s Michigan, I'd accidentally muck it up somehow, so I'm really glad to hear it worked for you.

YES, YES, FREAKS AND GEEKS YES. There are so not enough stories in this fandom, and I'm so happy to see this Kim, split in half between being mean and loving and vulnerable and cocky. You write her perfectly, and I love this idea of her surprising herself with something entirely different, and then being constrained by these ideas her friends have of who she's supposed to be. I love her squawks of outrage at Daniel, and her unquestioning acceptance of who she is. Your voices for Lindsay et. al. are also dead-on. Thanks so much for sharing this!

There is definitely not enough fic in this fandom. When I watched the show in January, I went on this basically fruitless quest for fic, it was very sad. I'm so, so glad the way I wrote Kim worked for you--it's always great to hear what I imagined in my head actually translated into what I wrote. Thank you so much for commenting!
