Teachers are let go and rehired now in October to save 1 months of salary. This should be illegal. Anne had to do that every year and it ultimately created so much debt and stress it jeopardized out marriage. You are let go in the spring and have to wait until September with no clue if you will work again every year. Every spring comes the announcements. Man I can see how you would feel the same way. It sucks always living with uncertainity every time a new year hits. This economy has really hurt things.

Don't know what you mean about remarried. I got married in September 2008 and am still married which some days I am surprised about since we have so many risk factors that our odds are very low - money problems, infertility, ADHD, etc. I am sorry your relationship didn't work out. Like I said it is hard these days with so many problems we face.

I am hoping that the economy turns around, but I am not holding my breath that will likely happen in the next decade or so. By that time I will be too old to even care anymore.
