I'm fed up with the non-reciprocation in many things. People bugging me to come to this and that, but then if I ask them to come to this or that, no one seems interested. Frustrated that one of my "friends" has been ignoring me. Probably limited my Facebook profile, goes into Invisible mode on AIM, and just does not reciprocate and sort of pretends to be interested in events, but is always busy and does not notice ideas I mention or try to schedule things at all. I was going to an open mic. There was karaoke downstairs. There was a drink I wanted badly, but they didn't have it upstairs at the open mic. I had to go downstairs. A person will be moving to a new job that he won't like. He feels that he has to give up some of his values so that he will be able to better serve his community. I got taken off the blackboard list already. Go figure. Ah well. Not like I had a use for those powerpoints I couldn't download anyway.

I asked 4 different classmates if I could work with them, and none of them have wanted to work in a study group for a big exam. I know they don't know all the stuff most likely. My luck. two computers die on me in less than 3 months, and most of my "friends" won't try to help me out even though I can explain my situation very clearly.

In the program I'm currently in, say if you fail a course, and then take it again and do better than failing, they still count the failing grade, which isn't right. If you have 3 failing grades, they just kick you out of the program just like that.

Is graduate school like this in general?
