We don't know about our house but apparently River Ridge is dry but we don't know about wind or tree damage. i live in the ridge too on garden road.
i heard that my house specifically was pretty much ok. theres's no flooding in the ridge but supposedly trees down everywhere. but trees down, even if they hit our houses, are much better than flooding.

i'm getting a pretty steady flow of information so i'll keep commenting on your lj as i get news. if you tell me your address i might even be able to get someone to check on the house for you, but that's certainly not a definite.

the only possible looters i'm worried about are the ones that live further down jefferson high than us...not towards harahan...like towards hanson city and st. rose. you know that really ghetto area on the highway with all the cheap convenience stores/fried chicken places? yeah, that area. but i heard that the harahan fire department was gonna be patroling and stuff around the area, so i hope that it all works out.
