Today was the worst day I have ever dealt with. We had to put Copper down. He was old and in lots of pain. But losing him was awful. Chunky doesn't understand why he can't bring bones upstairs. Both boys loved him very much

I was good with it until the doctor started pushing the syringe plunger and lost it when he went limp and finally stopped breathing. The whole process took roughly two minutes, but after it was over it was like I had been running for hours.
He is no longer suffering which makes me as happy as I am sad to not see him when I get home from work anymore. He was a great dog, the kids played with him almost everyday and he will definitely be missed.
