The very last thread of connection I have with you almost saddens me.
The potential of what could have been is heartwrenching.
Sometime I feel like severing this connection, never to look back,
but its very existence makes me smile - I'm happy to have met you.

I read some advice from old people saying what they'd do if they were younger.  One said that it's good making new friends, but if you have too many, you might not have any close ones.

I'm feeling that applies to me...

All those 'new friends' will become distant friends, practically strangers, in a matter of a year, or even a semester.

At the time I didn't know it
But I loved being a fangirl and being in the fandom
