okay, i seem to have muddled a few people through my slightly confused explainations. :p also i got a few answers from immigration that required a few phonecalls as the letter doesn't fully explain everything

Yeah, the US's immigration policies are FUBAR IMO. I would really like for some changes to be made; I've been campaigning for it. Our Immigration offices have no real government funding; they run off of the fees they charge. So of course the citizenship process is astromically expensive.
true! i'm smiling already, but it'll be a massive weight off both our shoulders once it's all done~ ^^ at least we don't have a massive stress of any day getting a letter in the mail saying to i can't stay for some time now.
i don't even want to think of how much my visas, immigration, medical and etc have cost so far. will's parents, himself and my parents have all been paying for it.. along with a gift from some good friends to help us along. i've been massively lucky. ^^;
Considering you can't work, it's not your fault you can't really help with that! I'm sure they wouldn't be doing it if they didn't think it was a good investment ;)
