hurricane irene is a little scary, and we're not even going to be directly hit by it, or at least not hit by it at full force. but right now it's just gusts of wind and heavy rain, and the power flickering off and on, so right now all that might kill us is boredom from no internet. :p

okay, that just made my day. after an hour of everyone on the bus putting up with my non-stop sneezing and nose blowing, a gent passes me to exit the bus, drops a extra strength benadryl onto my keyboard and said "it sounds like you could use one of those". :D random stranger to the rescue, FTW!

the last fee (hopefully for now!) and extra paperwork just got sent off today for immigration. apparently i'm due very soon to have an interview for my perminent residency! eek eek ( Read more... )

okay, we've pretty much fully moved to the new apartment now. will's parents generously donated more furniture and bought us a few things from ikea, including NEW DESKS. both are 5 feet in length.. so much space! and yes, this is a big deal for the both of us, as we've been stuck sharing the same desk for the past 2 years ( Read more... )
