well.. this is dumb, turns out our internet was supposed to be this slow all along. what the heck? D: even dail up would let me load hotmail, and this connection whines if it even has to load a .jpg!

i've spent the evening sewing small felt carrots, and a felt carrot costume for a tiny toy. why? who cares! they're cute. :p

i'm thinking of making felt strawberries next. muahaha~!

final immigration forms got sent yesterday, fingers crossed that it goes through okay. although all this fuss just to live here, it's crazy. i don't even want to think what i'll have to go through when i need to apply for citizenship (or can you go for duel citizenship..?) considering how residency took 10 months for just the canada part to go ( Read more... )

christmas went well~! presents + good company + good alcohols + not causing any dreadful accidents to happen = yooosh. thankfully i avoided any wierd tummy upsets that sometimes pounce me on my visits there, not sure what change i did to my usual routine that helped.. but it worked! i was able to enjoy all the delicious holidays foods with no ( Read more... )

apparently i sound australian to more than a few people over here, i guess it's because i don't have a london accent, nor a posh accent or a BBC english accent. i base this guess on the british accents people are most likely to hear on the telly. my accent is certainly not one of them, as it's unplacable even to most brits. :p
