I think I'm tired of not having enough time to write anymore. I keep getting ambushed by insane plot bunnies from fandoms I don't even read. For instance, reading this review of an original Star Trek episode combined with a surfeit of Star Trek reboot fics has resulted in a dizzy little bunny who won't sit still, much less attempt to make sense. Welcome to the world of swine flu.
Technically my doctor's note says "viral illness" - my nasal swab came back negative for flu, but she said that since I was showing pretty much every flu symptom, she has me on Tamiflu anyway. Chicken needs Squishy - my new favorite web comic. My sister introduced it to me by saying, "Oh, speaking of rabbits, have you read Looking For Group?" Two hundred seventy-nine pages and a few hours later, the rabbit had appeared perhaps a half-dozen times. -

The PS2 issue has theoretically been resolved (apparently you have to call a different number to get warranty/PRP information, and the people whom the guy called don't know about this other phone number or the actual PRP policy) and hopefully I will get him a working console as soon as I stop being sick. The PS2 blew up (again). I can't find the warranty receipt and the new policy is that if you lose the receipt, your warranty is gone. WTF?
In the meantime, my brother thinks that he wants a PSP instead. I've lent him mine (we traded in a bunch of his old games so we could buy him a PSP game he actually likes) so he can decide if he actually wants -

My bedroom door no longer opens all the way. But I have assembled an exercise pen where Clarissa and Sally can take turns getting a little bit of exercise. (In a pinch, it could even be used to house a fourth (!) rescue. -

Holly had two mummified fetuses removed today. She is recovering from surgery now. She is one of four bunnies received from a kill shelter last Monday; she had not been eating well or acting like a healthy rabbit. I brought her in for an exam today as bunny lady and I both felt that she was simply not doing well, more so than could be expected from ( Read more... )
