Holy crap, it's been so long. Things happened. (Mais oui.) I had the job where they refused to pay me what they had agreed to along with the hours from Hell for a while, then we found a tiny kitten, then we gave away the slightly bigger kitten, then the lake had no more water, and then I mustered up the energy to write something

Dang, that picture of the lake is shocking! (What is it, ankle-deep at the end of the dock?) I hope some of the water comes back for next summer! D:

It was about a foot and a half? Maybe? It was just so surprising; I mean when we put in the dock back in June, it was mid-thigh for me. Every time we'd be there, the water would be a little lower, but...shocking really is the right word.
