I had my first real "going home" dream last night.  It was odd, and the dream wasn't great.  (It was one of those stressy, everything goes wrong dreams)  but I woke up feeling like I was already home... and once I realized I wasn't it was like "Bummer..."
I'm ready to be home now.  I really am.

8 work days and 8 non-work days left!  ^____^

Furano was beautiful!  The hike was pretty long, but really fun.  There were voulunteers all along the way pointing which way to go, and rest stops for water and the like.  They gave us a bag with tissues, maps, and mochi.  ^_^  Which was also nice to have.  There wasn't time to shop for souveniers though, and that made me kinda sad.  I only had 5 ( Read more... )

For most of tomorrow, I won't be home.  I'm going to Furano (a 2-3 hour train ride away) for the day.  Furano is famous for fields of lavender, and it should be about the right time for it now, so I'm going to take a 13 kilometer walk, and see the area!  ^_ ( Read more... )

I guess it's not surprising with the insane humidity/wet window problem from the winter... but geeze.  Crap-tastic timing 1 month before I leave.
