Béla Fleck and the Flecktones were absolutely amazing. Béla Fleck and Victor Wooten do amazing things with their hands (and instruments). Fleck can play the banjo like nobody's business, and at times makes it sound like a completely different instrument. Wooten makes his four-string bass sound like he's playing two bases at once. A New Beginning.
I'm moved in, settled in, and otherwise beginning my new life here. It's nice, so far. Lots of freedom.
So much, in fact, that I don't know what to do with it.
I'd like to thank Ethan, Jade, and Obie for all of their help yesterday, you guys mean more to me than anything in the world.
And now, I'm going to cook my first meal in my new place. -
It's the end of the world as I know it...
...and I feel fine.
So I'm done. I'm done packing. All that's left to do is to get a good night's sleep and put my stuff in the car in the morning. Then we haul out to CT and move me back onto campus. I'm a little nervous. It's almost like I'm leaving forever.

Ozz-venture.
So I got a phone call yesterday morning. It was my mother, and she asks if I would be interested in going to some "oz-thing concert at the Tweeter Center". My mom is brilliant sometimes, really. Of course. So I call Ethan and wake his ass up and say, "Come get me, we're going to Ozzfest."

I hate how I can't hate Avril Lavigne anymore, because her music is still so thoroughly applicable to my life. If I were a rock star, I would have her life. I've known that since she got famous. It irks me a little, knowing that I can't be famous like that now because I'll just be following in her footsteps.

Harry Potter. Spoilers within.
I just finised Deathly Hallows. I am now a different person. And I've never been more happy than about H / G. Seriously, fucking awesome. I don't even have words right now. *squee*
Anyone that has any Wizard Rock, would you be willing to send me some? I'm in desperate need to hear Harry Potter-themed music.

Sometimes I think I worry too much.
The training that was supposed to take place today ended up falling apart when I passed out. Way to go, me. It did, however, turn out to be a fun day of wandering around downtown and drawing on the Chalkboard Car.
I finished the fourth Harry Potter book this evening, too.
