So I spent this evening with my family.   All of my family.  Second and third cousins, people I only see three times a year.  And I survived.

No arguments, no one got smacked, no one stressed out the grandparents.

My grandparents, by the way, aren't looking too good.  I'm a little worried about them.

I don't know where to begin.  This has been a bit of a whirlwind of a few days, and I'm not sure how to even put it in words.

You know who you are.  Now read this.
I love you more every day.  I don't know why we met, or why this came to be, but I've never been happier about it.

Summer sucks.

It's hot to do anything outside.
I'm stuck at my mother's house.
Most of my friends are two states away.
Kids aren't in school, so they're making noise outside my window in the morning.
I have no ambition to do anything at all.
And I can't wait to get back to school.

This infernal season does have one redeeming quality:  nighttime.
