I took one look at my bites this morning and called the doctor. The one on my inner thigh went from looking like a pink puffy nipple to a nipple that had been in a bar fight: deep burgundy bruise colors and angry red stains (plus an ominous red streak leading out from the center) surrounded a head of pus. Oh my! Yeah, that didn't look like any skeeter bite I've ever seen. I'm glad it got a bit better, but just as well you're on a little something just in case. Bruising and stuff is one thing, but those red streaks are never a good sign. I've had my fair share of mysterious bites, prolly spider as well (and that's a thought that always grosses me out because, since I don't remember the bite, it must have happened in my sleep and EEEEK! don't wanna think about that), and they've turned some amazing colors but never became full-on staph infections. Get better, little leggie!
